STOP RENTING — START OWNING

Custom IT Tools for Your MSP.

Every month, MSPs pay recurring fees for client portals, reporting dashboards, billing tools, and automation platforms. We build custom versions of those tools — owned by you, hosted on your infrastructure, and built exactly to your workflow. Pay once. Run it forever.

The Recurring Cost Problem

You're paying every month
for tools you could own.

MSPs have accumulated significant SaaS sprawl. Client portal here. Reporting tool there. Automation platform. Billing integration. Each one makes sense individually — but together they represent thousands of dollars a month in recurring costs for tools that often don't do exactly what you need.

For many of those tools, a custom-built alternative pays for itself within 6–12 months and continues saving money every year after. More importantly, you own it — it works exactly how you need it to, integrates with your specific stack, and doesn't disappear when a vendor gets acquired.

Typical MSP SaaS Costs We Replace

Client Portal$150–$400/mo
Reporting Dashboard$200–$600/mo
Automation Platform$300–$800/mo
Billing Integration$100–$300/mo
Total Monthly$750–$2,100+/mo

What We Build

Four tools.
Owned outright.

Client Portals

Replace expensive portal add-ons with something you own.

Most MSPs pay monthly for a branded client portal that barely scratches the surface of what they actually need. We build custom client portals tailored to your workflows — ticket submission, device status, invoice history, document sharing, and approval flows — all under your brand, hosted on your infrastructure.

Replaces: ITPortal, MSP Manager portal add-ons, custom-priced PSA portals

What's Included

  • Branded client login with your domain
  • Ticket submission and status tracking
  • Device and asset visibility per client
  • Document and report delivery
  • Integration with ConnectWise, Autotask, or any PSA with an API
  • Role-based access per client contact

Reporting Dashboards

Stop paying for reporting tools that don't show what you need.

Reporting add-ons for RMM and PSA tools are expensive and often inflexible. We build custom dashboards that pull data from your actual tools — RMM alerts, ticket trends, patch compliance, backup status, SLA performance — and display exactly what matters to you and your clients, without a recurring per-seat charge.

Replaces: BrightGauge, Grafana managed, PSA reporting add-ons, manual spreadsheet reports

What's Included

  • Real-time data from your RMM and PSA via API
  • Custom KPI layout per client or internal use
  • Automated monthly report delivery by email
  • Patch compliance, backup health, uptime metrics
  • Executive summary view for QBR presentations
  • White-labelled for client-facing use

Automation & Internal Tools

Build the workflow tool that doesn't exist yet.

Sometimes the tool you need doesn't exist, or the one that does costs more than it's worth. We build lightweight internal tools and automation scripts that solve specific problems in your MSP workflow — onboarding automation, custom alert logic, device audit tools, runbook generators, and more.

Replaces: Per-seat automation platforms, manual Tier 1 workflows, disconnected tool silos

What's Included

  • Custom PowerShell and Python tools for RMM environments
  • Web-based internal dashboards for your technical team
  • Automated client onboarding and offboarding workflows
  • Custom alert processing and escalation logic
  • Runbook and documentation generators from live data
  • API integrations between tools that don't natively connect

Billing & Invoice Tools

Custom billing logic built around how your MSP actually charges.

MSP billing is complex — per-seat, per-device, tiered, and hybrid models all running simultaneously. Out-of-the-box PSA billing works until it doesn't. We build custom billing tools and integrations that handle your specific pricing models, generate accurate invoices, and connect to your accounting software without the manual reconciliation.

Replaces: Manual billing spreadsheets, expensive PSA billing modules, per-seat accounting integrations

What's Included

  • Custom billing calculation engines for hybrid pricing models
  • Automated invoice generation from RMM device counts
  • Integration with QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks
  • Per-client billing rule configuration
  • Month-end reconciliation and audit exports
  • Billing anomaly alerts when device counts shift unexpectedly

The Process

From idea to
deployed tool.

01

Discovery

We map exactly what you need — workflows, integrations, data sources, and the SaaS tool you're replacing.

02

Scope & Estimate

You get a fixed-price quote with a clear scope. No hourly billing surprises. You know the cost before we write a line of code.

03

Build & Test

We build, you review at defined milestones. Changes and feedback are expected and included in the process.

04

Deploy & Hand Off

We deploy to your infrastructure and hand over full ownership — source code, documentation, and access credentials.

Custom Tooling Questions

What kind of custom tools do you build for MSPs?

Integrations and middleware that close the gaps between your RMM, PSA, documentation, and billing systems — plus custom scripts, dashboards, portals, and automation for workflows your off-the-shelf tools do not cover.

We have two systems that do not talk to each other. Can you connect them?

Usually, yes. If both expose an API (most modern MSP tools do), we can build the integration that syncs data automatically and ends the copy-paste between them.

Do we own the tools you build?

Yes — the tools and integrations we build are yours, documented so your team can maintain them, with our support available if you would rather we did.

Is custom tooling worth it versus buying software?

When an off-the-shelf product fits, buy it. Custom is worth it when the manual work you pay for every month costs more than building the automation once — we help you make that call honestly.
